Boy&Girl

Whisper to me a song of long ago
A tale of the fate of a boy and a girl
When rainbows and butterflies were all we knew
When we woke up without redness under our eyes.
Sweet thoughts and long kisses were our lullabies.

Press your sweet lips into the destiny of us.
One with your lips parted, a never-ending lust.
A growth of relationship with an eye of trust.
The story should fall neatly into place
This boy and this girl were meant for this chase.

Place your loving hand into the safety of mine.
Hold just tight enough so that I know you're here.
Curl your slender fingers around mine with care.
Tell me you love me and we'll be together forever.
Destiny found its way to this boy and this girl
They stumbled upon each other and are permanently inseparable.

Toast with me in the pale moonlight.
The expensive glass with that cheap wine.
We'll laugh as we gaze into the eye of truth
This eye of love that found its way into the hearts of youth.
A bittersweet tale of a boy and a girl, sharing their hope, their love, but more importantly their world.

Once upon a time, long ago
There was a tale of the fate of a boy and a girl
When rainbows and butterflies were all they knew
But when they woke up one morning they realized it was too good to be true.
Destiny tore their worlds apart, leaving them empty except for the remains of two broken hearts.

Goodbye happiness
You waved these souls goodbye
We throw up our hands, don't bother to write.
Maybe this boy and this girl weren't meant to be
For even beauty can be seen through the eyes of misery.
