What I Could Never Say

by KitKat07   Apr 22, 2006

Thankyou for the dirty glare,
And the time you took me to the fair,

Thankyou for running into me in the hall,
And all the times you took me to the mall,

I rememeber every detail of Valentines Day,
And every single time you said hey,

Thankyou for taking the confidence I lack,
And never giving me my heart back,

I know you like a nerd knows a book,
And now I cant even bear one look,

It's funny how you'll never know,
My memorized put-on show,

Cause when you come around,
I just have to look down,

Cause I can't stand you to look into my eyes,
And risk you seeing the pain inside,

I even know your certain smell,
That reminds me everytime you put me through hell,

As I can sit here with my cracked up heart,
You wont stop throwing those damn hearts,

Now all I can do is just sit here,
And cry out every single tear,

Why would you want to break something that's already broken?

You'll never see what you've done to me,
You've made it so I can't be free,

You've hooked me to these chains,
That are causing me so much pain,

You don't know how much I've been effected,
Just to hear I've been rejected,

There's not enough that I can say,
To explain why I feel this way,

I'm not trying to make you feel bad,
But trying to make you remember what we had,

I'm not trying to make you feel guilt,
But trying to make you look at the wall you've built,

So now I'm gonna say "I'm sorry" and apologize,
And hope my love for you dies,

But I honestly don't think it will,
There's just to much emptiness to fill,

So I'll just sit here and long for that last kiss,
That I'll forever miss.
