Until the Ends of Time

by Leah   Apr 23, 2006

If she wished upon a shooting star
would it replay her past life
would it confront her with the image
of cuts she made with her knife?

If she picked a tiny rose
and she held it to the light
do you think she'd be able to fake
the fact that she was alright?

If her voice could pierce your heart
would you ask her to sing
even if it really meant
you'd risk the loss of everything.

At dusk until dawn
your telling you eyes to relinquish
but even in the fairest black
your tears are still distinguished.

If you take a moment to be mine
I'll kiss your delicate lips until
the ends of time.

If a single girl could change
the entire human race
would we be left with countless hurt
and a god no man could face?

If your tears could make
a dead rose revive
would you tell your tears
to vanish all the hurt you feel inside?

At dusk until the day of dawn
your telling you eyes to relinquish
but even in the fairest black
your tears are still distinguished.
