Look. Do you see her, Alone, and crying the in the dark? She puts up a strong front, But she really has no control of her heart. You must look very closely, And all you will you get is a peak. You may finally see inside her being, For truthfully, she is weak. What courage that girl must have, To face each new depressing day. She hides her feelings so well, Not one word will she ever say. You ask her how she's doing, And she will lie right to your face. For secretly she is in anguish, And finds it hard to keep in place. Why won't she let anyone know, Of the hurt, pain and torment? She must not want to let you in, And see what you might resent. She is distressed, wounded and bruised, From all the things that had proceeded. Things in life she could never control, Tried, but never succeeded. Now she is alone, And crying quietly in the dark. She wants to let someone know, And help to mend her heart. She will never take the step, And ask for someones help. So she will stay alone, In this life that she calls Hell.
