Rebuild her World

by Leah   Apr 23, 2006

And many nights
she's left screaming,
searching for a voice
that isn't her own,
looking at her wrists she see's
the only reality she's ever really known.

Setting aside the
horrors of her past,
she sets out to regain another life, forgetting all the hurt she felt, lessening pain and strife.

On to another beginning
a beginning that is real
once a broken heart that yonders
finally has a chance to heal.

Tears that flood her vision
agony to strong to decease
and even in the cobwebs of her mind, she's having troubles finding peace.

Nobody will catch her when she's falling, nobody will kiss those lips
and in the sense of decent life
she's loosing all her grips.

Filthy images arranged in head
are killing her within
the best way to see her pain
is to look closely at her skin.

One cut for the mother
one cut for the son
one cut for the rising
but a new day has begun.

Packing up she decides
its time to run from home
run from all the familiarity
leave everything she's ever known.

No more cutting tender places
no more cuts will heal
she cannot cry her tears
for thats just another thing to steal.

Popping pills inside herself
she lays down for a rest
these pills are suppose to stop you
from feeling so depressed.

She wakes up in a trace
and unicorns are by her side
and these unicorns represent
everything she's unable to hide.

She spots a tiny elf
oh how cute he seems
this elf represents
how her insides scream.

And here comes a little fairy
oh it looks like tinker bell
this fairy represents
how she never seemed to get well.

Here are the mermaids
that swim in the oceans
the mermaids she how
she wouldn't show her emotions.

Her head starts to hurt
and her visions are swirled
opening her eyes
she starts to rebuild her world.
