Behind The Poetry

Her poetry I always adore
for her style is so unique
she is one of my favorites
an idol, so to speak

Visiting our group once
touching my heart in a way
that I was sad to see her leave
only wished that she could stay

With great sense of humor
she always makes me laugh
if we could be twins
she'd be my other half

We shared a funny thread once
I got her drunk on green beer
even though she's so far away
feels though she is so near

Her poetry is so touching
leaves you longing to read more
a friend that I someday hope to see
behind the knock at my front door

This poem is about a girl who has been one of
my favorites for a long time .
