Before I sleep

I lay my head upon my bed;
I begin to think of the ways.
I can bring my heart to say;
How much I need you here for me.
My eyes begin to close;
As I hear your words within me.
My eyes quickly open;
I look around to find you here with me.
All I can see is the Darkness amongs me.
I lay back down with a smile.
I whisper to my self as if you were before me;
Someday we shall be.
