You hold me close, and say goodbye.
You keep crying but I don't know why.
You hold my hand, and keep saying it's okay.
I start getting dizzy, and everything starts to fade away.
Doctors and Nurses start rushing to my side,
Soon I wake up and the dizzyness starts to subside.
But somethings now right, mommys not here,
I ask my daddy, and soon in his face I see fear.
He says "Mommy's gone to a better place, but left a special part,
she gave you a new heart.
So now you can be here with me,
this is what happen you see,
Your heart didn't work quite right,
Everyones afraid you wouldn't live through the night.
So mommy loved you she didn't want you to go,
and she wanted her love for you to show.
Tears drip down from his eyes,
then I start to cry.
"I want mommy again daddy, please bring her back to me!"
He says, "I wish I could bring her back to you and me....
