Key to His Heart

by KriSta   Apr 24, 2006

He watched me dance in the rain,
While I watched Him stare.
He could see right though me, He saw I was in pain,
and that He could not bare.

He told me it's alright,
There's nothing I should fear.
Then He held me tight,
and whispered in my ear.

"I'll love you forever,"
"No matter if you love me."
"Even if our relationship severs,"
"You'll always hold my heart's key."

Then He placed a gentle kiss on my forehead,
Smiled and walked away.
I was expecting myself to ignor Him,
But instead I asked Him to stay.

"Anything for you," He said with a grin.
"Anything?" I questioned excited,
Feeling my stomach twist within.
"Anything" he said this time delighted.

So I told Him to just forget me,
Walk away and never look back.
Then he stood up and handed me a small key,
That was beautiful and black.

He said "I'll do as you wish,"
"Just remember we're never apart"
"But most of all remember this,"
"You'll always have the key to my heart."
