Cutting is Addicting

Crave it like a drink on a hot summers day
Understanding will take more then listening to what I say
Tempting me since the day I started
Torturing names everyday I am branded
Initially I thought it was a crazy thing for one to do
Not until I pierced my own skin did I understand people like you
Great strength and will power you will need to kick the habit

Is it really something that in the long run helped you cope?
Someone out there will always care so please have hope

Addicting like a drug running through my veins
Deeper the cut will get as the addiction remains
Dont have any control over yourself once youre in its arms
Ingloriously hiding away all signs of scars
Cutting away at your feelings make you numb
Two weeks time you will look at the cut and see what you have become
Irritable until you feel the blades pleasant touch
Nothing will stop you because the razor doesnt hurt much
Great strength and will power you will need to kick the habit
