A Beautiful Tragedy

There was a boy
who was nothing special
he did not out-stand
nor was he a wallflower

He was not smart,
he was not stupid
He was not handsome and
he was not ugly.
He was just a normal boy
yet he had something inside him

When u look into his eyes,
u see a thousand tales that refuse to unravel
The truth behind those lonely eyes of his
remained buried deep inside

He stayed in his own sweet world,
never letting anyone to step inside
To the outside world,
he was just a normal boy
But he was not what he seemed to be

He was like a mystery
there was no key to unlock his history
He was a jigsaw puzzle with missing pieces
There was no way to find out
what was on his mind
There was no way to understand him

Nobody knew what he needed
Nobody knew what he wanted
He refused to open up
and let anyone inside
Until she came..

She changed his life
She took over the empty world inside
and added a smile to his
once lonely eyes

She was his best friend
She was his companion
She was his everything
She found the key to his soul
She broke the wall that surrounded him
She solved the puzzle

His life became radiant with her around
Her laughter,her jokes and her friendship
gave him joy and peace
It never seemed to cease.
I would really like to say
that they lived happily ever after
but it was not to be...

One day it all ended
She left him
She left him for good
He lost her to the cruel world's
unending circle of animosity and hatred
He lost her totally

Before she took her last breath,
she told him something
She told him to open up his soul
to love,peace and friendship
She told him to stay happy even in her absence
She got his promise and left the world in peace

He did not shed a tear
He kept the promise that he made to her
She was just a chapter in his life
but she was a chapter that made
a huge difference to his story

She always stayed in his heart
as the first friend he made
He did not let go of her memories
