My Ghost

Every time I close my eyes,
Your smile awaits me.
You're everything I think about,
You're everything I see.

I see you in the morning,
But only in my head.
I see you during the night,
Before I go to bed.

During the day,
I always think of you.
Where ever I go,
What ever I do.

During the night,
If I'm not in bed,
You're in my thoughts,
And in my head.

You're even in my dreams,
When I'm asleep.
There I'm always with you,
I'm not counting sheep.

Although you are my everything,
It hurts my heart to see your face,
Or think of you, I swear to God
This is the truth, I rest my case.

What hurts the most,
Is knowing that we will never be.
Your heart is somewhere else,
You don't notice me.

I want to move on,
Forget about before,
Forget about the past,
I want this pain no more.

I could never move on from you,
For your like a ghost you see.
Always in my mind and dreams,
Always haunting me...
