Except for one..

A day where the sun is shining
With smiles and laughter
To end the long school day, kids are timing
Ready for anything that comes after
Where everyone is happy just to be here
except for one

Getting together with all your friends
trying to make the school assignments fun
Periods of the day pass by and ends
People staring out the window with lights of the sun
Getting more anxious to get outside
except for one

With that one person not on the same page
feels like everyones free and one in a cage
In its own space
but not in the right place
The lights blinding and sensitive
The sound of peoples voice pounding like a drum
except for one

that one person who can put a smile on a sad little persons face
That one person who can change everything
That one person who has a perfect sound
That one person who brings you into the light
That one person thats different from everyone else
That one person that takes you out of the wrong place and into the right

That one person is you.
