Following My Disgrace

by Sarah Ann   Apr 24, 2006

Somewhere in this world I see
A lost girl staring back at me
But I still cannot understand
The girl stays gripping on my hand

Her footsteps print right into mine
Now both of them had lost their shine
And somewhere in my heart I feel
I'm scared to know; to think it's real

She can't be walking in my place
My soul is shamed, I live disgrace
I'm half of empty: none of whole
And I can't seem to help her soul

Great job! Just one thing, the last line, it could be "And I can't seem to help her soul" Not too important, just the rhyme.

Well it was great with the rhyme scheme. Not really sure I liked this piece yet it had great flow and a cool word choice. Overall good job.
