The end

by silhouette fairy   Apr 24, 2006

Looking down at you
from the balcony
you can't see me
but you know I'm here
tears trail down my face
as you look up i look away

why must i love you
for in the end
we shall never be

you climb the stairs
looking for me
i run to hide
but you catch a glimpse of me
in a room i flee to hide
but you're right behind me

why must i love you
for in the end
we shall never be

trapped in a room with you
crying, i fall
you try to help
i just push you away
"please let me help you"
i don't want or need it

why must i love you
for in the end
we shall never be

i turn my back to you
you ask "what is wrong"
all i can say
"love is deadly
it hurts too much"
"no it doesn't" you say

why must i love you
for in the end
we shall never be

"why does it hurt?"
you ask "please tell me"
love never lasts
i cry, tears coming down hard
you'll be fine my love
we shall be together

why must i love you
for in the end
we shall always be
