Sealed with a kiss

by Grace   Apr 25, 2006

Eyes,
new as morning.
As they shine brilliant rays of sunshine on my face.
You smile,
so greeting,
as you reach out hands that so warmly shake mine.

My heart full,
as your brown eyes look into mine.
A glance of hello,
turns into a gaze of love.
Your eyes bloom,
to reveal who you really are.
Only what I can see.

Blurred vision,
clouds in the sky,
as my heart sinks to my stomache.
Love lost,
life gone.
Emptiness inside me,
my eyes pour out what used to be your love.
You took my heart,
stole the key,
sealed with a kiss.
Please give it back to me.
