Running a Business

Running your own business
May seem like the ultimate power
But before you step up to the plate
Let me tell you about my encounter

Working sixty plus hours week after week
Without feeling satisfaction
Ending up further behind
And never gaining traction

Again you cannot make payroll
But you are understaffed
Giving up another weekend
So you can get pave a path

An effort to find success
So one day you will shine
Can sometimes make your life unfulfilled
And leave you feeling left behind

Giving up what matters most
Can make you lose your faith
For you cannot make up for lost time
And erase all your mistakes

So before you dive in head first
Take a lesson from me
Do not give up your life as you know it
And join in this hypocrisy

This lifestyle will soon change you
You will never be the same
Whether it be a life of poverty
Or of fortune and fame

Do what makes you happy
Find satisfaction in your life
At the end of the day you will appreciate
Whatever you sacrifice

Do not let life take you
On a trip you are not ready for
Always be ready for opportunities
Whether an open or closing door
