Why can't you be my escape
When all i need is relief
Why can't you understand
My sanity is so brief

If that is what you want
That it is what you'll get
I guess i wasn't ready
To completely commit

Why can't you be my escape

I'm losing all of my control
Being swept so far away
What makes you believe
That I'm even some-what okay

Each night chills an already frozen heart
Each morning breaks an already shattered soul
All because of the way i felt
When it was my heart you stole

Why can't you be my escape
When all i need is relief
Why can't you understand
My sanity is so brief

Unstable now, without your hand
Guidance is gone, without your love
Leaning towards suicide
Maybe enter the land above

My life is a burning hell
I just want to leave
No longer feel this pain
No longer need to grieve

    This was a very well written poem. Extremley(Extremely? I'm not sure) emotional write. I was going through my comments and you wrote about my " insanely overrepeated suicidal poems, etc." you are right, they are overrepeated, sorry you don't like it.     I really liked it, it reminds me of my boyfriend and how he is so scared to be in love yet at the same time he is so scared of losing me, amazing...keep up the great work!
