A walk in their shoes/table turns

by Brittany   Apr 25, 2006

I wake up every morning
Just to come here and see you pick on them
No one bothers to step in
Do you know how it feels to them with in?
It don't make you a better person
Why do you pick on them?
Just because their beneath you don't give you the right to
You laugh and joke about it with your friends
One day your friends are going to be picking on you
Maybe that's when you will feel how bad it hurts
When that day comes just remember how you picked on that poor kid
Than you will know how the kid felt when you did as your friends are doing to you.

I really liked this poem cause there is ALWAYS that kid in school who gets picked on but I was always afraid back then to stand up for them...thinking I'D get made fun of. So I really liked this and can relate to the writer's standpoint. Great job! And thank you so much for the comment, it means a lot and I'm glad you could relate. Keep it up!
