I feel all alone
but yet i am not
shadows peeking at me
from every darkened spot
the shapes formed together
cause me to fear
my imagination runs wild
as more things appear
creeping around each corner
bending sneakily by
Darkness of my own thoughts
fear by my own eye
what is this im seeing
what is this i feel
darkness all around me
its hard to tell whats real
theres someone out side my window
or maybe its just a tree
they could be moving forward
through the dark i cannot see
the sun begins to rise
and the shadows fade away
free of my greatest fear again
until the end of day
