Yes different, but with quite powerful message.

Just one suggestion, maybe break up the lines into smaller stanza's and remove some of the filler words, it may help to make it an even better read.

Example:
It's just another arguement,
just another night
Every week it was a stuggle,
he always wanted to fight

He stormed out of the house,
broke the screen door again
It flashed in his face,
when they were best friends

It is a unique peice princess I did have to read it a few times to understand and comprehend it but as per usual your writing never does fail to amaze me - dont worry having me read it more than once is actually a GOOD thing lol it means it made me think, contemplate I really enjoyed alot of the rhyming flow and the lines although such seriousness some made me giggle - some very Aussie if I dont say so like...

He dies with his true love, a beer in his hand

Just because he was a man, didn't mean it didn't break his heart

It was slightly different and it was likeable. The words were good though they sometimes messed with the flow especially somewhere in the third stanza. Imagery well done as was the story line with the rain.
