My Angel From Above

Lying in the grass with the sun shining bright,

Everything is perfect but it still doesn't feel right

Moved by the wind the grass dances elegantly

With my eyes shut I day dream, and it is only you I see

A chill runs through my spine, as shadow falls on my eyes

Slowly I open them and get a feeling I just can't deny

As I opened them it felt like heavens gates opened and an angel descended

For that one moment it felt like all the pain in my life just ended

While our hands touch, cupid flies next to my ear and whispers:"True love"

Hand in hand we walked down the meadow, leaving heaven up above

God must cry, for heaven just lost the most beautiful angel to me

She's the one I want to spend my whole life with, she's the one that made me free

The sky colors orange and the birds sing us their last song

Now we're sitting down at the foot of a tree, this just can't be wrong

The eyes are a reflection of your deepest desire,

Your eyes are the living proof and the look of them just set me on fire

I longed for your touch, I waited for your kiss

But just sitting here with you is the greatest bliss...
