I Love the Rain

by Dying Soul   Apr 25, 2006

Oh, how I love the rain.
It erases all my pain.

The drops are falling
My fate is calling.

The wind whispers in my ear
And all my troubles disappear.

There's thunder in the distance
There is no tension or resistance.

A flash of lightning right above me.
The beauty of it sets me free.

The scene just takes my breath away.
I'd sit and watch it everyday.

I love the rain. They say it acts as a drug. That is why so many people love it. Rain can talk about any emotion. Rain of fear. Rain of joy. Blessings rain down. ect.
Rain is an awsome topic and structure for poems. You write with a skill that not many people have. Your mind set is in a way were you can pick a topic and use it for poetry. Keep up the good work. Your Friend-Aaron
