I try to remember
Life as it was
Before I lost them
All at once

Yet I try to foget
That they were
All the same
It helps to take away the pain

I remember the laughs
All the joy that we shared
When we were together
And both of us cared

Full of love
We made our way
I only wish
He were here today

A miracle happened
So much delight
Unfortunately ruined
By her death and my life

I want to forget you
Find someone new
But the memories will flood
As soon as I do

I suppose I am destined
To spend life alone
All by myself
No one of my own

I was happy
It was a glorious time
But then it was ruined
In the stop of a dime

I wish to forget
That it was ever true
