Dust

by xbloodonyourfloorx   Apr 25, 2006

Eyes blurring, heart breaking, the tears stream down her face;
It's gone, she lost something she can't replace;
She put everything into it, heart, soul, and mind;
She hoped it would be different, that he was a different kind;
Her friends just scoff, say she'll find something better;
If only they knew how wrong they were, how little they get her;
This time it's different she sees;
It won't be fixed with simple apologies;
She sees him in everything she does;
But everything she touches just turns to dust.
