Unaware of The Darkness of Your Surroundings

by Kevin Fitz   Apr 25, 2006

Unaware of The Darkness of Your Surroundings

impaired judgment of sight
everyones beautiful in the night
but the light pours in
slow to reach your skin

gently, the wind moves the hair from your face
as silent whispers scream of fallen grace
your eyes, so poetic they steal my soul
hiding a heart so dead, so black as coal

and i am tasting my own poisons now

I\\\\\\\'ll be your gun and you can be my knife
so we can dance together and take each others life.
