Our Dying World

by Kevin Fitz   Apr 25, 2006

Our Dying World

A prayer for a severed head
A moment when thoughts are bled
A heart without a chest
A memory laid to rest

One thousand corpses fight the tide
One thousand coffins are set aside
One thousand motions to save a nation
One thousand failures into damnation...

No one can save the monster you've become.

I love it! It flowed perfect and I love the way you used the same words to start each verse until the last one!
    Wonderful work; keep writing!!
