To my marine

This poem is to a friend that i have never even met i have talked to him on line for the last few months but he is in Iraq so just let me know what you think please...

sitting under the stars
thinking of you from afar
and a smile creeps across my face
tho next to me is an empty space
thinking of you keeps me going
even with this pain I'm undergoing
i just can't wait to meet you
i know you feel the same way too
and tho we are miles apart
i keep you in my heart
and while you are away
i will continue to pray
i know things may get tough and you may get low
but pick your head up and keep on the go
