Friendship

It seems like all of a sudden
every one is sad
every one is down
and every one is different
it seems life is no longer fair
and no longer easy
one by one my friends drop out
not of school
but of the most important thing
life
what can you do for someone who is down
is there anyway to help them out
if there is i can't see it
we've always been so great
solving all these puzzles
it seems now we can no longer do it
it seems like what we have is gone
and the little it has left is faded
the vexatious days
now endured
the only comfort we can give is a simple one
a pat on the back and moral support
what good will that do
when your friends want out
and you can't blame them
you would have given up long ago
the thwarting ways that life has
the ways that everything explodes
never ending
or ending to soon
