I start out my day
Getting ready for school
I hop in the shower
Or splash in the pool
Breakfast cereal
Eggs and bacon
Pancakes or not
I'm finally awakened
Grab my backpack
Grab my books
Is my homework done?
How do I look?
Finding my car keys
I'm freaking out
I open the door
To leave my house
Turn the key
Start the ignition
But then I realize
My phone's in the kitchen!
I run back in
To start out my day
The whole morning
Has been in disarray
Finally at school
Getting everything done
I'm taking a test
It's not very fun
But the day is soon over
The stress is soon through
I'm back at home
With homework to do
I want to sleep
Just to get my way
But then I must wake up
So I can start out my day.
