Runaway

by Krystyn   Apr 26, 2006

Broken, once full of love and excitment,
Now beaten, left to rot in solitude.
Left home baring only his temperament
His new residents are deranged and rude.
Never has he made a'tempt to call home,
Boy to man, now dependant on himself
To live on the streets, he must do what shown.
His new family has taught him to bea' stealth
Now he has turned to alcohol and drugs,
Lost in nothingness, is brain is now numbed.
Once before he had warm kisses and hugs
Now forced into a corner, feeling shunned.
Where is he to return after all this?
Don't worry; there will be no one to miss.
