There was a Time

by Shade   Apr 26, 2006

There was a time when all we'd see,
Was one and other, so peacefully,
We lay awake as the stars shone bright,
In each others arms where it felt right.

With music playing and candles dim,
Heartbearts pounding from within,
A lust arises as bare bodies meet,
A crush of lips with a taste so sweet.

With a gentle touch we lay back down,
A soft reminder where we'll be found,
A blissful sigh into the air,
Both bodies now one, no worries or cares,

But that time has long since past,
with only the memories to make it last,
And now i'll tremble as tears may fall,
As I sit and hope that through it all,

My faults and sins will be forgiven,
Maybe my memories will become living,
But if not, then I'll have to endeavor,
That i'll have you near, And I've not lost you forever.

So true So true. I've felt that way too. You have a way with words, and it spoke to my.....loving heart.
