Geometry

by Luke   Apr 26, 2006

NOTE: This is not my normal style and it is NOT about math class or anything. enjoy?

Reach inside
Clutch my soul
Or my liver...
Find my secrets
Swear yourself to silence

Preach me a sermon
With the things you learn
Give me fire
Burn the kerosene
Burn me/Obscene

I want the pain
Give me life
Burn me slow
Like the dullest knife
Gift from Heaven below

Show my fame
Show my pride
Make me scared
Run and hide
Never worry/Fire cure me

Find a place
For us to race
Never lie
Bury me tonight
Feel it cold - so sharp

Once again
Hear my friend
Swear you'll never tell
Swear you are the truth
I need guidance - I need help

If you will, so will I
Swear to live, I will die
Slowly/Quickly
Metaphorically
I was never real

As fast as you were
I was high
Meet in the middle
There you cry
Let's grab a bite to eat

I repeat
Never leave
Or I will break
Like icing
On a frosted cake

Emotion/Proportion
Words that fit
Take one last look
I'm nearly done with it
Beauty beyond compare

Wishes never come true
Truth is life
This is true
Blame your friends
Misgivings bred in deceit

What a feat
To make sense
To find life
In the wreck
With fire burning souls

The tempo is not easily found but I believe you could recite it well

Wow this is actually really good. the title is.. different. but i like it. I thought it was going to be about math, but you suprised me! lol. Great job on the poem though. It's really got a nice flow to it, and i love the way that you ended it. 5/5*
