Staring at the Stars

I stare at the stars in the sky
Some sit still, others fly by
So beautiful, so bright
Glittering among the dark twilight

I sit there in awe
Gazing at the star's flare
It's so calming and warm
All I can do is stare

It really makes me think
About my life, and how it did sink
But even in the dark
Little lights spark

I smile to myself
Because there's still light in me
Just by staring at the twinkling stars
I know I can beat this misery

It's starts with little specks of light
Dancing around in the dark twilight
Shining though, guiding the way
Leading the night, to the dawn of day

I know my stars will shine
They'll guide me on my way
But now isn't the right time
It's not yet my dawn of day.
