Beauty in the Ballroom

by Matt   Apr 27, 2006

A beauty in the ballroom
Ten men for her to chose
Lending one her hand
Making her way to doom

Last dance of her life
As she swayed from side to side
Spinning in circles
Before the two collide

A beautiful dance
The best way to spend her night
Looking into the man's eyes
Not seeing what is hidden behind

One last dance
Then he says he'll walk her home
The way he puts his words
Sends chills all through her bones

Walking under the glittering stars
He sings her a sweet song
Before he reaches the end
She realizes something is wrong

He pulls out a blade
And she tries to run away
Her screams aren't heard,
She knows the feeling of betray

The lust of her eye
Causing the wrong selection
In the puddle of her own blood
She can see her own reflection
