Leave Me or Love Me

Why can't you be happy with who I am

Why do you have to try to change me and think you understand

If I'm not who you want me to be

Then why is it you say you love me

It appears in your eyes that I'm broken

But I'm as perfect as I need to be,you'd see that if you payed attention

I've accepted the fact that I don't give you the complete happiness you wished for

Which is why I'm about to leave and walk out the door

You made yourself believe you can change my person inside

But you have to know, it'd be a worthless try

Changing me is something you will not succeed in

This is one battle you're not going to win

If you opened it up and freed your mind

You'd understand what I was telling you what was going through mine

If I'm not good enough for you being who I am

Then you need to leave now and let me be who I have always been

But if you really love me,you'll let me "stay"

and you won't try anymore to change me into any other way

So make up your mind, what's it going to be

Are you going to leave or are you going to love me?
