BE MY HOME

by Unbreakable   Apr 27, 2006

THESE PAST 9 MONTHS HAVEN'T BEEN THAT KIND
BUT BABY THE RESULTS ARE MORE THAN FINE
I'M AFRAID TO SAY YOU'RE FATHER COULDN'T MAKE TIME
HE HAS OTHER THINGS IN MIND
I'M ALL YOU HAVE AND YOU'RE ALL THERE IS FOR ME
AND IF YOU DON'T MIND, THERE'S ONE THING YOU COULD BE

WOULD YOU BE MY HOME
BABY, BE MY SHELTER
SAVE ME FROM THE POURING RAIN
DON'T WALK AWAY, I'LL GO INSANE
JUST BE MY HOME,
BE MY EVERYTHING

I'VE NEVER CARED TO BE SOMEONE'S SOMEONE
NO ROOM FOR A MAN TO TAKE CONTROL
TOO PROUD TO FALL IN LOVE
BUT SINCE YOU WALKED IN MY LIFE
AND SNATCHED MY HEART AWAY
THERE'S ONLY ONE THING I'D BE PROUD OF

WOULD YOU BE MY HOME
BABY, BE MY SHELTER
SAVE ME FROM THE POURING RAIN
DON'T WALK AWAY, I'LL GO INSANE
JUST BE MY HOME
BE MY EVERYTHING

THE YEARS FLY BY, ONE HAPPY FAMILY
NO MORE BABY, SHE'S OFF ON HER OWN
MOMMY & DADDY ARE LEFT AT HOME
THOUGH LITTLE TIME PASSES BEFORE HER RETURN
SHE'S 6 WEEKS PREGNANT AND DON'T KNOW WHERE TO TURN

WOULD YOU BE MY HOME
PLEASE, BE MY SHELTER
SAVE ME FROM THE POURING RAIN
DON'T WALK AWAY I'LL GO INSANE
JUST BE MY HOME
BE MY EVERYTHING
