Death in a white dress

by Olliver Kahle   Apr 28, 2006

My eyes die out as the sun sets,
Fading lights and bloodshot eyes,
Fixed and focused on a shadow,
Swift and gentle the wind rises,
Death in a white dress,

Graceful, elegant and pure,
A demon caught in beauty,
Voices scatter, creatures howl,
Unpredictable, yet so recognizable,
Death in a white dress.
