A poem that says i am sorry we're through
i thought for days and days and days
thinking of all the other ways
the way i could have said nothing
the way me and you were together
the way i cried for what i said
i cried through showers and in bed
you were all i thought about
how me and you and would be together without a doubt
though you are with one of my friends now
i can't help but wonder how
how me and you are really through
how i could have said that to you
i cried all day inside and out
because i think of you all day with no doubt

how sorry i am that we are no longer "we"
you probably knew this from the start
but i want you to know you will always have my heart
