The Day I Die

by Kristin   Apr 28, 2006

I don't want to have regrets on the day I die,
But the regrets are just rising.
I don't want to be afraid on the day I die,
But this fear will be surprising.

I don't want to cry on the day I die,
I want to be happy and blessed.
I don't want to be sad on the day I die,
I don't want to die being depressed.

I want my death to come as a shock,
for knowing my death day will be bittersweet.
I want it to come out of the blue,
yet I don't want my life to be incomplete.

I want to die as a hero,
or as champion known to all.
I want my life to be full of bliss,
before I have to fall.

I want to die instantly,
yet I want to say good-bye.
I want my day to perfect,
on the day I die.
