I stand here in the dark
awaiting the sun rise
so the light can clear my thoughts
and empty out my mind

I'm standing in the rain
with my tears starting to fall
trying to forget all i have suffered
just trying to erase it all

as i lay my head at night
it all seems to come back
every tear i have cried
is awaken in the dark

I'm trying so hard to smile
to go through out my day
not let a single tear fall
to let the pain just fade away

as i start my journey
my little story just goes on
but soon I'll start to smile
as the emptiness will be gone.
