If Eyes Could Speak

by Wings Of Flames   Apr 29, 2006

I take a peace-filled hand,
And lay it with a knife,
I draw a banquet of treasure,
To take away the strife,

Then feel for a key,
To run streams of pain,
And carve the hands to a globe,
And alone I stare in vain,

Forsaken I see clear,
Of what I see tonight,
My creation of this place,
And creatures given sight,

Senses aroused by emotion,
I preach today an end,
Personal values remain broken,
And no finance left to spend,

Desire, lust and greed,
Inflict a certain war,
You shall destroy my world,
And the creatures not to sore,

So to teach you I fell numb,
But astounded you didnt care,
I left that place and ended,
What you thought would be there.

Hahaha, sorry if I startled you there. The previous comment had your name in it, so I thought it would have been best for me to use your real name =D.

    Much love,
    Fallen.

Excellent poem, Emma. Written very well and your writing is overflowing with constant emotive language. Well done, and keep it up.

    Much love and God bless,
    Fallen.

P.S: Do check out 'Stolen Innocence', a poem very much in favour of the style you write in. Please and thank you =).
