Grandpa

by Tonya   Apr 29, 2006

They told me that you had to go,
But we still need you,
You will never have the chance to say,
What happened that day.
It was a Sunday,
That we put you in the ground.
I had to say my final good bye,
October 31,1999
The tears came like rain on an mid-April day,
The tears of happiness and of sadness.
Your memories will always be here,
Your words will always be spoke.
The holidays come and go,
And the thought of you not being here,
Puts everyone in so much pain.
We have let you go . . . to be with Jesus,
Forever there and always here with us.
