Nature

by manic moments   Apr 29, 2006

The wind blows softly
The tree moves in dance
A leaf is blown up loftily
Such beauty is only in chance

The sun glistens sweetly
Setting off the water in colours
A duck slides in meekly
So protective, normal mothers

Secret garden lay hidden
Behind the walls of the city
Small as a kitten
But no nitty gritty

Nature has beauty of great wonder
Nothing can compare
In a storm, it would echo the thunder
Everything is there to share

Humans have forgotten
The natural beauty we where born for
This little wake up is for the old Eden
This is more then a wave on the shore

These birds may never sing once more
These flowers will wilt and die
That's why we need to clean up our earth for
To show the big man in the sky

The wind whistles past
Calling you to assist
Raise the flag on the mast
To show everyone what it amiss

The tree sways gradually
Beckoning you forward
Don't let it die off sadly
Lead life onward
