What Happened?

I'm home from a crappy day,
I have nothing better to say,
for I am glad to be here alone,
to open my computer as it's screen shone.

I always look forward to msn,
always now and always then,
for theres this one person who talks to me,
I'm in love cant you see?

We've been steady for over a year,
everyone knows, he's such a dear,
we always loved talking and I thought always will,
but its probably the long distance that made the kill.

Because now we barely talk,
My heart, I have closed with a lock,
he's so distant now and I can't see the love in his eyes,
that were always engraved with YOU and I.

I am lost between here and then,
I hold my breath and count to ten,
seeing him will just break my heart,
for I know now that we will soon part.

I can feel him growing more distant each day,
and all my friends have to say,
you're overreacting as usual and you should be happy and glad,
but all I feel is resentment and I am so sad.

For I do not want this love to stop,
I feel as if I'm catching a thief, being a cop,
Love, time, care and communication is a must,
I probably just need time to think of you, of me and of us.

What happened to us...why is this so,
why does it feel like u will definitely go,
leave me because I'm far away,
leave me because you aren't willing to stay.
