My fears and tears

My tears are not you
problem.
I tried so hard
to hide them.
But the fear inside,
I could not hide.
For there is a problem
with me.
you can see
cause of my love and trust,
I told you the truth.
How I cut myself,
how I druged myself,
Just to get rid of life's ride.
You asked me why,
I told him I guess,
I just wanted to die.
He told me not to
cause he said he cared too
much,
so he told me
he would change me,
rearrange me.
I asked him how
he told me that
I will teach you
not to cut you fears away
not to let them just fly away.
He told me every time you feel down,
come into town,
and talk
about what you were going to do,
or to who.

It's like today for who I am
proud to be clean
cause I know that Ia m just a teen.
Everybody has one bad day,
but hey I had more than just one.
It was more like a ton.
But your love taught me
that even though I got mad or really sad.
That you will be there for me.
to help me chase my fears and tears away.
