Goodbye says it all

The time has finally come to say our goodbyes,
but there won't be anymore tears in these eyes,
They've been some good times but too many bad.
So you see I'm not going to go around feeling sad.

There's no point in crying cos I'm moving on,
all those nightmares and memories will finally be gone,
No one can change all that went on,
So now all I can do is try to move on.

I have to admit there are some I will miss,
but mostly I'll just remember feeling like this,
she ruined my life just for the fun,
it would have been easier if she'd pulled out a gun.

So now that I'm leaving I won't feel sad,
Not after the experiences I've had,
I won't see her face wherever I look,
So I won't have to think about all that she took.

Goodbye says all that has to be said,
cos she made me curl up and wish I was dead,
there's nothing left here that she didn't destroy,
and to think it all started because of a boy.

I mean why did it happen?
I thought we were friends.
I guess you didn't understand what it meant.

So now it's time to say goodbye,
but I won't be one of the people that cry.

There's no more tears left here to fall,
so I'm afraid simply goodbye says it all.
