The touch of your hand, the tips of your fingers outlining my lips before you kiss
The gentleness of your hands when stroking my hair
The sensuality I feel when my skin meets with yours
Those were feelings dead to me till that day came when you basked your presence upon me
The nakedness of truth that we both grown to fear and afraid to reveal, our truth about who we are
it became like an open book. A book without a beginning or an end, we learned to reveal all when our eyes met every time
You’ve made it so easy, so simple to just sit next to you and speak my heart
Without fear or concern
You’ve made it so easy to be with you and you with me
It all became so easy because of how you love and baby you love me so earnestly
You loved me in a way that one hears only in fairytales
You have accepted me with my flaws and my perfections
So many times I can recall to when I have said many things that made you hurt
And I am sorry, for hurting you was not my intentions, but still you bared with me
You have loved me so much that when I gave up hope on us; you stood your grounds
And insisted that hope is not yet ready to be given wings, hope is not ready to escape our love
You made me believe and to look beyond reality, you made me realize that in order to survive as lovers, I must never give up on hope nor faith.
You have made me see love and its wonders, and as I stand today breathing endlessly into you, I promise that I will try my best to love you in that same way you did towards me...
Love is learned and it is practiced with the one God sends to you, and love comes only once in a lifetime, maybe for others they find more than one love, but for me, you are my one and only great love and I pray it will last through out the coming years.
