Story of the \'Emo Girl\'

by xLongxXxLostx   Apr 29, 2006

The Scars on my arms tell a story,
but the pages do not end there.
This story is written all across my skin.
The stories of my dispair.

The years of pain and abuse,
chains that forever hold me back.
The reasons why my heart is cold
and my soul is tainted black.

The first chapter, there on my wrists.
Most marks upon my arms
Sometimes the thoughts are so dark
they can only be expressed through self harm.

The following entries,
are upon my ankles\' skin.
Anorexia and more pain
All the tears held within.

More chapter are written
on my legs that still look fat.
Suicide attepmts and substance addictions.
all the things like that.

But my story is still being written,
to my life there seems no end.
Yet I still look forward to days of freedom.
Oh, how I wait for them.

Maybe someday I\'ll finish my story,
and the scars will fade away.
The story of the emo girl,
will die along with her pain.

These secrets I hold to;
of all the things held past.
Come spend a day in my story,
Lets see if you can last.

Come, try to be beaten,
raped, abused, then locked away.
If you can survive that
You\'ve last but one day.

Maybe you\'d then write a story.
Or try to starve it out?
Or would you bleed it away,
or try to scream and shout?

But I survive this tale.
Thats being written as you read.
And Im telling you this
because it dies as I bleed.
