Walking down the path he fell
made a choice that kept him from hell
Christ was in his heart we know that full well
He did not choose to leave that day
but he is home because he prayed
God picked him up with love and care
and told him his home was no longer there
We sit at home and wounder why
We can’t help ourselves we start to cry
Another time another place
but God chose now to see him face to face
He is gone he won’t come back
let us pray that his death has a great impact
to show the ones who do not know
that there is a place he knew he would go
a place of love
a place of grace
a place were God’s glory shines on his face
He left us without a chance to say good-bye
that often happens when people die
He came he lived he accepted death
in that one moment he took that final breath
he is kneeling now before the King
bringing Him his life offering
Worshiping God the rest of his days
Giving him glory honor and praise
You too can know this Man
with His soft gentle heart
and His strong caring hands
This Man with more love then you could grasp
A love so pure a love so vast
Just ask Him now begin to pray
say i will give you my life from day to day
He gave His son to die as well
and free you from the bindings of hell
ask Him now give Him your heart
because His love for you will never part
